Please correct me if the following is wrong:
The Serial Management port connects via an RJ-45 to DB9 adapter to a serial port on a terminal (my PC's serial port-COM1)
I can use terminal emulation software which supports SSH connection -there was documentation about the baud rate etc. to logon to and configure the Service Processor. Is this correct?
The other two connections will be from the Network Management Port to the LAN (using DHCP)
and NET0 also connected to the LAN. There should be no need to configure the Network Management port with DHCP.
After the Service Processor initializes I can issue commands to start the system.
But should I reboot and use the Network Management port from that point on to access the Service Processor?
I am new to this process and I am not sure if I understood the documentation?
Thank you in advance.
Joseph
