When I start CPQTEAM I see question mark in front of two nics. What does it mean. Thanks

It means that the two ports / cards have not been "installed". If you click on the port / card you should see a button on the right hand side that allows you to 2install" the card. Do this for both of the ports / cards.

We have DL580 and I see only 1 nick installed with 2 ports.Does it mean that I will need to install another card and then team both nicks? Thanks

Are you using the onboard NIC, or has another NIC been installed? If the latter does the NIC have dual ports?

There is only one nick and it has a dual ports. Are you saying that I need to install another nick?
Thanks

If you have installed the Compaq network software you should see an icon at the botom right hand side of the screen. Open this and you should see both ports. Highlight the port you want to use and click install on the right of the screen. You do not need an additional card. Any more propblems please post another question

Chris,
Here is what happened:The person who originaly configured this server renamed two Local Network Connections for each ports to "Top" and "Bottom" for his convinience. By default their names are:Local Network Connections and Local Network Connections2. These question marks that we see now are from renaming.
Thanks for your help Chris
