I have a 200Light, occasionally we have the bay reset. logs show trap errors. I've changed main control card, disk drives, bay power supplies, bay control cards, trunk cards, dlic and console. it still reboots. each time the bay resets, one of the log entries is 'dlic module installed' on the universal card. is that normal?

Could the dlic and lcd console be incompatible with 200l lw16? shall i put in a sc1000?

I also have several digital ports externally forwarded for managers. this is a small hotel. yes, i know it's old.

Old? Ancient more like.

Trap errors are bad, 1 error will cause a reboot at 2:00am Sundays
50 errors will cause an immediate reboot

I havent seen a Trap error since I still had hair. Typically they are resolved by upgrades.

As for the LCD Console on the universal card, I havent touched one of those in over 20 years (nor do I want to)

this telephone room was, unbeknownst to me, super hot during the summers. No fan, no ac, nuttin.

all equipment is tested for weeks prior to delivery. once installed it acts up. traffic on the system is low, mostly front desk staff.

contrary to popular opinion an upgrade isn't in the works. we still support some 200d systems, 200l and 200el and sx-50.

I opened up my LW16 manual and found on the first page a big NO to DLIC, no LCD console supported. The manual is LW16 ML system. My system is an L (FD). My decrption is LW16 enhanced 144port. Do you think it matters between ML and L?
