In one of the posts you said you had developed an application in FoxPro that was entirely keyboard driven. Do you happen to have a demo copy that you could send me. I am currently working on converting an existing DOS system to windows but want to keep it keyboard driven. I am new to FoxPro and the Windows programming so I am looking for some good ideas of how to start and how to organize things.

Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

Thread484-41912 deals with the issue of disabling the mouse, which isn't really practical.

Thread484-54412 has a post which suggests which controls are suitable for a keyboard driven application.

The particular application mentioned was developed in VFP6.0 on the assumption that the user would have no previous knowledge of computing and that a mouse would not be available.

I could send you an example form from the application rather than the application itself, so that you could examine the code.

If you are still in the planning stage of this project, then I suggest you restrict your thinking to the use of the following keys, F2 to F12, + and -, Enter and Escape. With the aid of designated hotkeys, they will allow to you to navigate the system.

Post your e-mail address and we'll begin :)
