question abt. AGP texture not bein available

hello..im new here and im still not quite sure on how things work..i am also quite new with handling a laptop especially the hardware so please bear with me..

I had so many files in my laptop when i first bought it..it's compaq presario 2100 series.. 2198CA..i reformatted my whole laptop now all the files are gone..i never know how to recover the disk so i just installed windows xp luckily i have saved ATI Radeon..when i installed it my AGP texture acceleration is not available..

now i am looking for a site where i could find a driver that i could use to make it work..whenever i watch dvd's it's always choppy so i figured that must be it..so if any of you guyz know a site where i could find a driver for my agp..that would be really nice n ur help will be greatly appreciated..thanks..
 
You might want to go to hp's website and download all the drivers for the motherboard/chipset,and install them. Sounds like the video driver isn't installed,and is using just the windows default driver. Rich

I shall use google before asking stupid questions!
