Question About VB and a Batch file

I have a Batch file that does does the following
1. Calls a VB app
2. then does other stuff

BEFORE the vb app finishes executing the
dos batch file continues processing
It blows up later cause certain files that the vb creates
are not there yet ...
How can I get the batch file to execute in proper sequences.
