Question about the date calendar used in CE9

We are upgrading from Seagate Info 7 and was wondering when you use the Date calendar popup window when you are promting for a date range within CE9 what time is it using. The reason being our database tracks date and time of a shipment, invoice, etc. With Seagate Info users had to enter a date and time this way DateTime(2003,09,12,0,0,0) to get the beginning of the day on September 12th and DateTime(2003,09,12,23,59,59) to get the end of the day on September 12th. If I just pick the date from this new calendar popup window what time is it using?

It uses the full day.

There's also a datetime type in the parameters, right?
