question about the configuration cradle

can we use the same Nortel wireless phone configuration cradle that we use for 2200 series, for the 6100 series handsets, as well?

Nope. The 6100 series phones use different software (Handset Administration Tool) as well as a different base. The base for the config cradle on the 6100 series phones is a dual slot charger that connects via a USB cable.
