OK so I have a customer who swapped out a phone which had a wireless "backplate" and the cordless headset and charging cradle, they neglected to remove the little 4 pin jumper (in which pins 1 and 2 are connected via a looped black wire).

Does anyone know what this actually does? The replacement phone and wireless headset seem to function perfectly fine without it...but am I going to find that I have lost something later?

Thanks!!

Chris

loops power through on older version of the adapter. New phones and adapters don't need it.
