Question about subsites & the topnav menu...

I got the menu to work like this by creating subsite:

Main
subsite 1
subsite 2

the problem I am not having is I would like to prevent a user from clicking on Main and subsite 1 as well. They should be only able to click on subsite 2 only which will take them to the link...

BUT I do not know how to prevent someone from clicking on main and subsite 1 and going to it's url, although I want them to see it... those are not meant to be active...

How do I do this in sharepoint/designer?
