In our volunteer group setting we're starting to play with this Windows feature (windows hosted networking) to create a secured private wireless network for our other members to connect to. So far, so good.
However, so far this works good with a wireless host connection. My question is when our hosting location does not have wireless but only a wired connection. It is possible to have my Win 7 pro laptop connect via the LAN to the location's lan and still run WHN/ICS on the wirless adapter to allow others to connect through to the Internet?

If I need to be more clear, please ask ?

Thanks you [ponder]

Answered my own question. Windows implements the WHN feature as a Virtual Adapter so it MUST co-exist on the same physical adapter as the wireless host connection. Hopefully this will help some others.
