I have a user who is changing their last name. When I change the name of the account in the network, do I have to configure anything, like a login script, to have her email sent to her new account name? How would I do that?

What you have to change is the home directory (environment). Do you use GroupWise? If yes, you have to change the name in GroupWise and make sure to sync the Adressbook.
In the Loginscript you usualy have nothing to change.
Does this help you enough?

Will this send emails addressed to her old name to her new name on the network?

I mention, you have GroupWise.
I would create an Alias and put in the "old" name, so mails that are sent to the old address, would the person receive anyway.
Also put the actual name in the Alias.
Make sure, to change the name also in the Information Tab.
You may try the scenario with a testuser.

If you are mapping a Drive in the Login Script to the Users Home Directory, then you may have to modify the line there also. Unless, of course, you are using the %LOGIN_NAME variable.

Good Luck.

Would I have to change, in NWAdmin, anything under the Environment tab? For instance, Path: Users\"username", under home directory?

Yes. You will. Regarding the rights, once you rename the users Home Directory, the rights are retained with the new name.
