I looked at the FAQ's and kind of found an answer to my question. The FAQ I am looking at is 3 different fields to same row. A CarolS said that if you create an alias table you can then link that table to the others and create a formula linking that field to the alias table. I understand how to create an alias table. My question is, what formula do you write to link that field to the alias table? For example, we have a field named Location. This Location field has two inventories within it. If I use the select expert and say the Location field is equal to SHIP, I get the pounds we sold. If I say the Location field is equal to CASE, I get the quantity of cases we sold. How do I get to see on my report:
Cust Date Cases Weight
XYZ 08/01/01 10 100.00
ABC 08/01/01 5 50.00
