Im about to do this step on the registry editor see link below:

The event ID 13562 is showing up on my file server; but on the message I
get, it says something about the domain controller. My question is should
I delete Sysvol on my domain controller or my file server ? If you click on
the link tip 4762, I have done the "Repairing the Null Server-Reference
Attributes" and did not work so I guess this would be my last resort, just
not sure if I should do this on my DC or file server, any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

Do not delete sysvol! It contains the file system portion of your group policies. Sysvol also should not be on a file server, only DCs.

Can you please post the exact 13562 message you get, with the distingushed name of the object that is missing?

Thanks for the reply, here is the message that I get on my Second File Server.

These messages all have to do with DFS links. Specifically, the links under the company files DFS root.

Have you tried doing the null reference repair on these objects, rather than the sysvol objects?

I just finished working on "Repairing the Null Server-Reference Attributes" and I also remove the DFS links and the DFS root so I can start fresh and I removed this before I tried to repair but it still giving me that event id on my File_Server_2. Any more ideas ? Thanks much for replying
