That edition should do fine. BUT like any book, it is also better to find another source to add to the knowlege from the Mike Meyer's A+ Guide (3rd Ed.). It does not have to be expensive. Soemthing like A+ for dummies or Idiots guide to A+ will give you a bit of an edge along with your current book.
