Hello,

It's my first BCM i have to set up, i work since 6 years on Meridian systems.
I have to make a lab with a 81c, Option 11c and BCM in VOIP Trunk.
In the BCM manager when i go to IP TRUNK SETTINGS i have :

Max Trunks : 60
Total Trunk Crédit : 0
Number h323 Trunks : 60
Number sip Trunks : 0

Does my Key codes are OK ? I don't know if i have 60 Trunks or 0 Trunk .

Is there with a new BCM a Keycodes sheet like meridian or not ??

thanks

Looks like you have no IP trunk keycodes installed. 60 is the maximum you can have on a BCM.

Check your licensing by logging into Unified Manager, open System, open Licensing, then click on Applied Keycodes.

There's nothing on Applied Keycodes, does Nortel send you the key code on a new install ?
It is a diskett or a keycodes sheet ?

Thanks

You'll get a separate auth code for each feature you want to enable (mailboxes, IP trunks, IP sets, etc). These come on paper when you order the system, but aren't tagged to your system until they are generated on KRS. You or your vendor would then generate those auth codes against the BCM system ID via Nortel's Keycode Retrieval System. You then add the keycodes to the system to activate the features.

You're definitely right about one thing - it's not like the Meridian world. The BCM 50 is getting closer - at least that only gives you one keycode for everything you activate instead of one keycode per feature.

Ok thank you ,i found the aut code yesterday but i have another question somedy before me generate the Keycodes just for the QSIG/MCDN and apparently the Site ID he use was not the site ID of the BCM i think it was the site ID of another site.
So when i want to use this aut code in krs it tell me that the aut code has already been use.
For the other aut code all is good.

Can i make something to generate my QSIG/MCDN keycodes ?

thanks.

Have you got IP trunks for both sites?

If you want to have 4 VOIP trunks you will need 4 for each site.

You would generate the keycode for site A for 4 and Site B for 4. It sounds to me like you have one keycode for site A and require another keycode for site B.
