Hi All! I need someone to PLEASE tell me why the plugin tools in Illustrator 9 are grayed out. I can't figure out why they won't work. Can anyone help me?

You are probably looking at raster plugins and you have a vector item selected. Place a raster/bitmap image and then you can use the greyed-out filters.
