We are currently looking at creating our Sales Presentations in Flash, at the moment they are in Powerpoint which is very bad, but we need to know a few things before we run out and buy it.

If the we created the flash player is it possible for us to make it so that it just calls external images and external text? The problem is that the presentations are client specific so we use their logos and some of the text needs changing depending on what they actually want.

It needs to be pretty idiot proof as the people who would be changing the text and placing the images in the relevant folders aren't amazingly computer literate people.

Any help or references to look at would be appreciated. "Life is like a Ferrari, it goes to fast.

The answer is yes you can ... BUT ... it will take someone who doesn't know how to use Flash at LEAST a couple of months (if not more) to get to the point of developing at that level. Even then working with dynamically generated content takes a bit of experience. If it's just for presentations, and you don't have (or aren't planning on hiring) a Flash developer, I would say just stick with Powerpoint. Powerpoint can be just as professional-looking as Flash ... it's a design thing, NOT a software thing. _____________________________________________________

thanks rgstewart

it's looking like we will stick with Powerpoint and just upgrade to 2000 or XP so we get the latest and er 'greates' version "Life is like a Ferrari, it goes to fast.
