Question about Flash memory

Hi,

I have a 2514 router that I purchased with 4 mb dram and 8 mb flash. I installed another 8 mb flash and a 16 mb dram. When I do the sh ver command it will read as:

14336k/2048k of dram
8192k system flash partition 1 (read only)
8192k system flash partition 2 (read/write)

How can i get these to reflect the normal
16384k/2084k dram
16384k (read only)

Or is that possible? The IOS I I have is 12.0(9)...I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it...

Please advise...thanks in advance.

You need to erase the flash, then it will combin the total space.. Basically erasing it formats it..
