New to SAN and have much to learn. When utilizing space in an ESS800, how do I decide when not to utilize both clusters associated with a DA pair? Software is IBM TotalStorage ESS Specialist.
In other words, if the space is to be used for a DB or an application, do I need to be careful to use only one cluster in a DA pair.
Thanks for any info.

[ponder] I don't understand your question.

It is my understanding that if you don't use both adapters of a DiskAdapter pair, i.e. if you only utilize one of the two clusters, you'll only get the half of the bandwidth out of your shark.
