Hi everyone,
These two should be easy really
I have a formaula that makes a field one or zero depending on wot another field is. I then sum this item using a group total. I have 3 of these altogether, one counting all, and the other two the specific items. I then have a couple of formula's that works out the percentage the specific items are of the whole. This works well when I report it within the groupfooter. But when I make a cross tab object, I can only pick up the group total items (the formula's for percentages disappear). Is there any way within the cross tab I can express item A as a percentage of item B ????
2. Is there any way to force running totals to be calculated when placed in header rather than footer???
Many Thanks
Ian

Running Totals can't be used in a Group Header, but you can right click a field and select insert->summary->select the aggregate function and the group(s) to place it in, then drag it to the group header and it will be accurate.

As for the crosstab, this is version dependent, which you didn't share:

CR 8.5 and below:

CR 9:

Note that you must apply a hotfix
