Hi there,

I'm sure that this is an easy question but it's got me stumped. I'm organizing a charity golf tournament and I'd like to set up a database to streamline registration.

I would like a form that allows me to register a max of four golfers to one hole. I'd like a pop up box to warn me that the foursome is full. Ideally it would also not allow me to enter a new person if the foursome is whole. I've set up a main form (for the holes) and a subform (for the golfers) if that helps.

Can anyone help me?

A starting point for the subform
Code:
    If Me.RecordsetClone.RecordCount >= 4 Then
    MsgBox "You can't add more than 4 golfer" '
    DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acLast
    Else
