We are running Exchange 2003. I have one particular user using Outlook 2000. He can view his contacts but when he creates a new message and tries to add them through the To: button the contacts show up empty.
I have tried all the fixes I could find on the internet including adding and removing outlook contact services, making sure the use as address book button is checked. I tried reinstalling Office/Outlook several times and applying all of the service packs and hotfixes. I have even gone so far as to format and reinstall Windows XP thinking there may have been something wrong in the registry.
I tried creating an e-mail from the Exchange web access but still had the same problem. Is there anything I can check on the Exchange Server? Also, this individual sometimes logs into his mail from Entourage on a Mac which has a local address book on it. Could this possibly be causing a problem? If so how can I get him corrected with Outlook?
