Question about backup/restore in Livelink

Hi ! (sorry for my english, i'm french speaking)
We use LL 9.2 SP1 and LL 9.1 SP3. All work fine. I would like to know how you make your backup in LL. Our BD is oracle on unix server. Our Livelink is on Windows server and the documents are on this server (windows 2K Sp4). What happen if one of your user want restore a document deleted since 3 month ? In this case, we need to restore the BD and the root directory of our external stotage folder. There is other solution ?

Hi,
we have a LL 9.2 SP1.
We make oracle backup by making dumps of the LL user.
We save LLDOC as MSWindows backups

We cannot restore a document that has been purged. We keep 7 days of deleted docuements (LL default)

I know there is a 'Garbage collectore' module from Livelink that offers more features for deleted documents but we are not using it.
I would not say our backup solution is satisfying

itrashcan.It is very simple to use.Otherwise if you have DB backup at a point and External File store at that point you could use that to re-create a prod system.If you rae concerned about search indexes back up those file also
