Question about avaya server VM communicating with the expansion unit

Hi all,

I have an avaya server virtual that connects with an expansion unit that has a E1 card.
Currently the e1 is not connected yet.
The licenses are distributed in weblm

I programmed the IP line (pbx) with web socket server, where the gateway is for example 172.16.150. 60 and the pbx vm is 172.16.150.50.
The out going ID is 99001

In the line of the expansion unit I programmed the same but with the gate way being 172.16.150.50 (pbx) and outgoing ID 99998

When I made a test to see it the expansion unit see the ext and digit, I get incompatible msg and also the expansion unit doesn't see anything coming from the VM pbx

They can ping each on the network

The ARS in the VM pbx, is as follow
Code= 7N;, tel # = 7N, feature = dial, Line group = 99001

The ARS in the expansion unit is as follow

Code = ?, tel# = . , feature = dial, Line group = 99998

Also in the PRI30 have incoming and outgoing id 99998

Does anyone have an idea what I am missing for the expansion unit to see the input of the digits for m the main pbx

Why are you programming IP lines in the Server & the IPO?

the ccorect way to add an expansion server is to use the add expansion server opprion

Hi IPGuru,

I have added the expansion ipo, it even has the server license that it gets from main Server.

Or am I understanding you wrong, if so, could you give me an example of what you mean?
