Question about Arrays from a Newbie

I am a newbie to VBScript. Actually I am a newbie to programming altogether. I am currently working to try and learn some basic VBscript so that I can learn some basic ways to program .asp. The question I have is on Arrays. The whole concept of an array really does not make sense. I don't understand how to even set the arrays up inorder to figure it out. Could someone please help me out.
