Hello,

I'm new to PeopleSoft, so I´ll probably post a basic question, but I can't find information about my doubt.

I need to transport developments from dev to test and production environments using the command line, not the application designer GUI. I found information about copying the proyect between environments using pside.exe options, but as I've been told, the proyects have to be built.

Can anybody tell me how to transport, build, etc... a development from dev to oher environments using the command line. I would appreciate an explanation about the steps, and specially the complete command line of each step.

Thanks in advance. Yours,

I have never heard about command line operation,
but if you want to see the results in test enviroment then you must get the project in test enviroment(if you have checked in in dev env.) or move project by status

Hello,

Thanks for the answer. I'll try to explain what we want to do.

We need to automate developments' transport process, after developers release their changes to a file.

We don't want to use a GUI Client software like App. Designer to transport the changes from DEV to TEST & PROD (of course, after the changes are checked on each environment).

Direct Database conections between different environments is not allowed, so the idea was to use App. Designer's command line interface (CLI) to do the work.

We know that this product offers multiple command line options, but we don't even know if a complete project transport is possible using the CLI.

Help needed. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
