Howdy folks,

This should be easy for the SBS gurus out there, if possible. Either way, it's no big deal, as I've only 14 users in the domain.

We are adding signatures to all our outgoing email using Exclaimer Mail Utilities on our Exchange 2003 (SBS2003 Premium SP1) server. This app fetches data from the AD and inserts it in the proper fields (company name, address, phone, fax etc.). The point is to unify our corporate image with a common signature for all users. If you're an office drama fan then read about it here (way optional): thread717-1478885

When I was setting up the box I used a User template which did not have all the common data entered, I figured why? Well, this is why.

Anyway, is there a way to magically propagate the data into those fields of the user Properties at this late date? I stink at typing and dread having to enter in all that information manually, and will not let ANYBODY else near the server, so if my punishment for shortcutting is manually entering the data so be it. I'm embarrassed to even be asking this question because the time I spent typing it I could have entered 3 or 4 users...always trying to find an easier way, that's me! [smile]

You can go into the Active Directory Users and Computers and select multiple users at once, using the CTL key and then edit their properties en-masse. Only the tabs that don't require uniqueness will be available, and that should include the fields that you are trying to populate. That at least takes care of all the info that is common to everyone without a lot of repetitive pasting. If there is unique data, you'll still need to enter that on each one.

There are other scriptbased options that can read from a comma-delimited text file, but I thought I'd give you the easy solution since it sounds like all you are missing is the common data, and that's easy to take care of as I described above.
