Hi,

I have no problem ... but i do have a question

Last time i installed a Packard bell portable with a normal XP pro ... when in the bios "EHCI : enabled" he didnt found the HD (which is SATA btw)
But when i disabled it it did recogize the disk.

How come ??
I tought EHCI only had something to do with usb.

Thx,
Mike

Yes, EHCI is to do with the USB, but maybe it is linked to the SATA in some way. This is purely a guess & I expect someone else will come up with a better answer.

You sure it is ehci not ahci?
ehci has to do with usb butahci with sata
