questin with winspm 9.0, blocking an extension

Hello everyone,

We keep getting someone in the office keep dialing extension 781 which is a calling group. Is there anyway to block that extension from being dialed from anyone in the office. I still want the 781 for the calling group but wanted it blocked from inhouse users from dialing it. I havent found a way to do it yet so thats why i am asking. Any help would be appreciated.

or is there a way to tell which person keeps on dialing that extension. I dont think there is a way for that.

Do you have a PRI? If you do, you could renumber the calling group to a secret number, and point the DID number to the new calling group number. Or....if your callers get to the calling group through the attendant, renumber the calling group, then change the Selector code that points to the calling group. To renumber the calling group, it is sys program, start or exit, sys renumber, calling group, enter old number, enter new number. I am not sure as to your application, with some more information I could of have been more specific.

You could add 781 to a Disallow List (but keep the voicemail extensions off the DisallowTo list).
