I have a table linked back to an Excel worksheet. I want a query that will be able to set criteria, that if the value in the cell is greater than 50, it will check the box yes, and if it is less than 50 check the box no. Can anyone help me??

try this...

DoCmd.RunSQL "UPDATE YourLinkedTableName SET [YourYesNoBoxFieldName] = IIf([NameofCellValueField]>50,'Yes','NO')"

hope this helps you.
