Hi,

In order to get an overview of an existing installation of
Informatica I've planned to use Business Objects. I've searched for a
universe and haven't found one, and therefore started making my own.

When making my own I'm having trouble connecting source, target,
transformations to a specific mapping.

I think I need to use the following tables
Mappings : OPB_MAPPING
Source_definitions : OPB_SRC
Target_definitions: OPB_TARG
Other transformations: ? ??
Connection between mapping and source/targets/transformations:
OPB_MAP_TARG_INFO

My major problem is that I can't see how OPB_MAP_TARG_INFO connects
to the source,targets and transformations.

So what I am looking for is
a) A Business Objects universe for the informatica repository (Oracle)
or
b)Some info on the tables, f.ex. an SQL query which gets the
source, target or transformations from a mapping

Please help :)

PS I know there is a meta-data program, but unfortunately we will not upgrade in a while.

First, which version of informatica are you working with?
Versions 4 and 5 are very similar, but version 6 is quite a bit different.
I have a universe for version 4.7 based on ORACLE (can't use it myself, cause I am working with DB2) which is usefull as a guidance for version 5 ,but will not be of much use for version 6.
If you want a copy, send me a mail.
(Also have a BO report for more easily monitoring sessions, for daily checking)
