Hi,
I am new to CSP Programming. I like to clear some basic concepts. I understand the CE is a web publishing tool for Crystal Reports. But there are a number of tables in CE like CI_Infoobjects. Are these similar to any database tables? We use normal SQL to query in these tables through CSP. Can we query on these tables through some other interface like SQL PLus or SQL Editor (the same way we do in Oracle or MSQL) where we can find the different table relationships and the table descriptions and structure of these CE tables and what each column is used for? Does Crystal Enterprise works like a database like Oracle or MSQL?

My be my question is silly, but I like to clear the basic doubt before I proceed. You explanations will be appreciated.

Thanks and Regards

Here's a good thread on this:

You can't use a standard query tool to extract all of the data, and the available data is based on the version of CE.
