I have a memo field I need to query and pull out only the ones that have the words "allow dogs in unit". It can have other information but if this is in the query I need it to be displayed.

How about:

SELECT MemoFieldNameHere
FROM TableNameHere
WHERE MemoFieldNameHere Like "*allow dogs in unit*
