Query with Date Parameter 1

I have a query that is run with the parameter Like"*"&[Notification Date]&"*"   which brings up all the records for a particular date.  Is there any way to write the parameter so you can bring up several different dates at a time or a range like May-Aug 2000?  Thanks!
