I have a query that I run that is very slow when I add a particular table to the join. I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this. The table is not very large, it has about 10000 rows. It has one primary key that is used to join with other table keys. I've done a DBCC checktable on that particular table and it ran clean. Any ideas where else I should look? Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

Looking at the Execution Plan would be a good place to start.

Do you have an index on the foreign key that you use inteh join?
