Query using dates ???

I want to report the records whose Birthdate field's(dd/mm/yyyy) month matches the month which was enterd as the parameter in the query.

ie, if i enter July in the parameter, then all the records whose Birthdate is in July should be displayed.

how do i do this ???

If you enter July as a number (7) then the where clasue would look like the following.

Where Month(Birthdate) = [Enter month to select]

If you enter the month as a string, July or Jul you can use the following.

Where format(Birthdate, "mmm&quot = left([Enter month to select],3)
