Query to pull last time a program was used.

Is there a way to write a query that will pull the last used date for programs. I have users with expensive software who claim they need it and never use the stuff. Now I am getting hit with license cost. If I could prove they have not used the program in months I could remove from there system. Currently the program I am trying to check is Microsoft Project..

I don't think that data is collected by default. Set up a software metering rule. The data will be collected and you can run a canned report to show usage.
