i have 13472 image paths in a database and i have made a html page that displays them and i have an input box that allows the user to add data to the database based on which image he is viewing.BUT seeing as there are soo many images i have made a query that displys only the ones that still need to be looked at so is there a way that lets me use the query in the html page?or any other ideas that will help the users not have to click on the foward button 6000 times each day to get to where they left off??

Maybe I'm missing something. Why don't you just originally base the DAP off your query? I assume you have some kind of indicator to show which image was seen. Well, in the beginning, the query would have all the images. Then as they are ticked off, the query would only show the non-seen ones. But the way, if you click on the Header Section bar in design view and look at RecordSource, you'll see what the DAP is based on.

thanks i didnt know about clicking on the header so i just cliked on the header and changed the src to the query...
THANK YOU VERY MUCH you would not belive how long i have been trying to do this [thumbsup2] you da man

it is working well except that now it made the input box readonly even though it is set to readony=false so it displays the data fine but it doesnt let me add to the db anymore i seems to be a problem with the query?
