Hello,
I have a data base and i need to identify how manny different accounts it contains. A account is formed by a distinct combination of Group, Div, Policy - found on differnt colums and of a text format.
for instance i could have:
Account Group Div Policy
acct1= 79213 001 ac1-254-134
acct2= 79213 001 123-dff-215
acct3= 59421 305 123-dff-215
I am a total beginner and any help with this would be much appreciated!
Thank you in advance

Great!!!
Thank you very much.
I have one more question related to this one. Between 2 tables with different number of accounts for example Table1 has 100 accounts, Table2 has 50, how do i write a SQL statemnt to get the 50 accounts that belong to table 1 and not to table 2 (having in mind that accout is as above a distinct combination of group div policy)

Thank you so much once again!

Theresa
