Query that Calls a Query that Calls a Query

I am analyzing a query under MS Access 97 SR-2 that links to Oracle tables via ODBC (Oracle 73). The query in question is using another query that in turn use another query itself. Just curious if this means each query is run based on the calls. One of the Oracle tables is very large, in excess of 10 Million records.

Also, I have one user who hangs on the query. That user is running Win98 on a PII box with 64RAM using ODBC (Oracle 73 V25). My initial thoughts are to increase the RAM and perhaps change to driver to Oracle 73 or even MS Driver for Oracle. Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks!

Yes all of the queries run when the ultimate query runs.

Error messages?

How many records are expected for the query that hangs?

Oracle will have parameters set by the DBA to prevent excess use of memory and cpu.
