Query runs like a dog in 2000!

I have converted our mdb from 97 to 2000. Most went smoothly but, a query that is linked to two ORACLE tables, via the Merant ODBC driver, now runs like a dog. It used to take about 3 mins, but now runs for over two hours and retrieves every record in the linked table!
Any ideas.
We are running Office 97 on Windows NT workstation.

You may be having problems with a new feature in Access 2000 called SubDatasheets. Here's a Microsoft Article (Q261000) "ACC2000: Slower Performance on Linked Tables" that may help you get around the issues.
