Query - Prepaid Customers

Please indicate if there is any feature within Sage 300 (apart from the credit limit option) that can be used to restrict transactions for customers without a prepayment/deposit.

This control mechanism should reflect "Your deposit has been exhausted" when an attempt is made to process a transaction greater than the customers prepayment/ deposit.

There's nothing within Sage that will do that.

You could look at Orchid's Extender product which would allow you to introduce new business logic to do what you need.

A rather crude way could be using an SQL trigger to place a sales order on hold if your criteria are met. I've done something similar.
