hi

i have some data in a table which i need to search through. i want to be able to serach the data by date, and i should be able to do this from the form i have created.

how do i link a text box to the criteria funcion in the design view of a query.

Hi flycold,

In Query design, under Criteria, enter ..

[Forms]![FormName]![TextBoxName]

You form will need to be open for it to work, of course.
