I have a table that contains document numbers and all revisions of the documents. How can I write a query that will list only the most current revisions of the documents?
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Did you try using the MAX function?

SELECT DISTINCT DocNo, MAX(Rev)
From tblDocs
Group By DocNo

Should be something like that... Terry M. Hoey
