Legato ver 6.1.3
I'm tring to get a listing of all full volumes for one year.
The syntax that I'm using is:
mminfo -q "level=full savetime>05/1/04, savetime<05/01/05"
The problem with this is that I get every thing in the index.
any help would be appreciated

add the -r option:

mminfo -q "level=full savetime>05/1/04, savetime<05/01/05" -r volume

xour answer is correct but you may have forgotten a comma after the word "full" - and if it is not needed, it would not hurt.

good catch 605! thanks a lot. Actually, I did a copy/paste from the original post and I added the -r option.
