Looking for a query that will pull newly discovered machines.
---------------------------------------------------------
I can then place them in a New Machine collection and advertise updates. That way overnight the machines will get updated.
I can then remove from the collection and deploy the machines.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure how you would detect new SMS clients, except perhaps to look for devices with no disk history. Maybe this would work:
select SMS_R_System.ResourceID,SMS_R_System.ResourceType,SMS_R_System.Name,SMS_R_System.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_System.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_System.Client from SMS_R_System left join SMS_GH_System_DISK on SMS_GH_System_DISK.ResourceID = SMS_R_System.ResourceId where SMS_GH_System_DISK.ResourceID is null

However, it would be better to create a collection based the need to have a given job run on the device. New devices will not have SMS completion files for the job and therefore will be run. "Old" devices will have already run the job and will have a completion file.
