I have been asked to query our DB for all product descriptions that have the word fax in them. This field is a 255 character field and I am not sure where to start.

I know if it was a field with just fax I could pull use the criteria of = "FAX" to get this but it is a little more complicated.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

where StrConv (yourfield, 1)Like '*FAX*'

the strConv changes your field to all uppercase so you will find the word 'fax' no matter what case it is in this way.

In the criteria cell: Like '*fax*'

Hope This Helps, PH.

I don't think JetSQL is case sensitive when using wildcards.
