Query Engine Error in CE 9.0 Connecting SQL Server 2000

I designed the reports using CR 8.5. When uploaded the reports in CE9.0
most of the reports ran fine except for 3 reports.
Those 3 reports give "Query Engine Error. File...". The database used
is SQL Server and the crystal decisions provided solution for Oracle
database driver and not for SQL Server.

Can somebody provide solution for this problem?

Thanks

This makes no sense:

"The database used is SQL Server and the crystal decisions provided solution for Oracle database driver and not for SQL Server."

Why is Oracle involved in your statement?

If you're using a SQL Server database, use the CR supplied SQL Server ODBC driver.

Try rephrasing your question if this doesn't help.

I still don't see what this has to do with SQL Server. SQL Server is the name of Microsoft's SQL database, so why are you using Oracle, or if the database is Oracle, why are you using SQL Server?

Perhaps someone else can get you to accurately describe your situation.

Hopefully the hotfix resolved your problem and you now understand the difference between Oracle and SQL Server.

I think you are not able to understand the problem clearly. Crystal Decisions has provided Hot Fix for Report connecting to Oracle database for the same error. But i am not connecting to Oracle. My reports are accessing SQL Server database.

Can somebody reply for this ASAP?
Thanks

The problem is solved now. I opened the reports in CR 9.0 and saved it in that format. Then loaded those reports in the CE 9.0. Reports ran fine.

Thanks bdreed35!!! I made use of ur solution provided to Apollo21!
