I am new to DB2. I have an oracle/unix background. I have downloaded various manuals from links given in previous threads. I cannot find the command to select or describe the parameters from the config files. ??? Oracle's parameter file is the init file. What (and where) is the db2 config file in an unix os?

Any additional commands that you want to share are highly appreciated.

Thanks is Advance.

I think you are after the DB2 registry. Take a look at the following post.

thread178-381806 I should add

db2set -all to see a list of all the profile variables set for your environment.

Cheers
Greg
